By Mija, an Australian Made label founded in 2024 by designer and artisan Rebecca, celebrates femininity, minimalism, and beauty through the skilled hands of handcrafted artisans.

Motivated by a vision to create beautiful pieces, that make you feel confident and beautiful in your own skin - in whatever way that means to you.

Our entire design and production stages are created within Australia. It's important to us to ensure the best quality and taking things nice and slow in the fashion lane. Good things take time, and you're worth every second.

As a new brand in the fashion industry, we understand our responsibility to incorporate sustainability at every level. Recognising the industry's challenges, we've opted for small, unique production runs.

Our limited production approach ensures we avoid overproduction, protecting our planet but also guarantees that your outfit remains unique at any event. This exclusivity allows us the freedom to innovate, perfect quality over quantity and experiment without excess waste, enabling us to refine and perfect the qualities you love most about us.

Our dedication also extends to our packaging, which is entirely plastic-free and recyclable, aligning with our sustainable ethos.

Our Design & Make

As a small business, we are dedicated to creating each piece in the most sustainable way, to slow down the fashion industry with a less is more approach.

Naturally, we're deeply committed to understanding the impact of our fibers on both the planet and people, ensuring we always opt for the absolute best. Our creations are made from low-impact materials and rescued deadstock fabrics. We take the time to know all our partners, allowing us to confidently say we know "who made our clothes" at every stage of our supply chain.

We design exclusive collections periodically throughout the year, not to follow trends or seasons but to create pieces that you can fall in love with time and time again.

Handmade

Each design is brought to life by hand with a freehand knit technique; taking days to produce. Every style is unique and finished with high bespoke quality, which can only be achieved with love and time.

In our commitment to sustainability and mindful production, we purchase only the necessary amount of yarn needed for each individual piece, aiming to minimize waste. We envision our creations as timeless treasures, designed to endure and be cherished for a lifetime, especially with the right care at home.
